Uveitic Glaucoma Part 2

Uveitis patients provide some of the most challenging types of glaucoma.  The are often young, in the prime of their lives, juggling their illness with work, family and social commitments.  Their vision is potentially threatened by the large fluctuations in the intraocular pressure from very high to hypotony.  The key to successful management is the team approach, involving glaucoma and uveitis sub-specialists as well as rheumatology.  Part 2 of this lecture series addresses the surgical approach and an overview of  critical management principles.
