This song is dedicated to Sight For All, the organisation that has provided the opportunity for in-country subspecialty training including Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.  It was inspired by Dr Tung, a first year resident in Ophthalmology at the Vietnam National Institute of Ophthalmology, Hanoi.  He performed the original song for me on his guitar and the following morning, whilst travelling to the hospital I thought it could be adapted to an Ophthalmological theme.  The lyrics were quickly composed and I met Dr Tung in the clinic to put it to the music.  Two hours later, after lunch Dr Dong, Director of the Corneal Unit summoned his staff and together recorded the song for the first time.  I hope it will be enjoyed and provide inspiration for both colleagues and our patients.
