Phacoemulsification of the white cataract presents significant technical challenges to achieve a successful outcome.  This video describes in detail the approach to managing these difficult cases.  Three experienced phaco surgeons discuss their optiions to guide others performing such procedures including pre-operative assessment, use of vision blue, choice of OVD, performing the CCC, phaco chop, IOL insertion of an IOL in the compromised capsular bag and post-operative management.
