LASIK is the most common method for refractive laser correction of myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism.  It involves formation of a corneal flap that can be achieved by a mechanical keratome.  This video presents the potential problems that can occur during formation of the flap and ends on tips on how to avoid these potentially devastating problems.
