Brittle Angles
What are brittle angles? In these types of patients, the trabecular meshwork is compromised in such a way that function is impaired. There is a spectrum of obvious angle damage such as recession, peripheral anterior synechiae, pigmentation through to more subtle loss with no clinically visible anatomical abnormality. The background history is the key to diagnosis. Only with a diagnosis can optimal management be instigated. This lecture details the essentials of the history and examination.
