Bleb needling is a technique used post-trabeculectomy when there are signs of drainage failure.  It is performed under local anaesthetic as an outpatient clinic procedure or can be done in theatre.  This video presentation with detailed commentary addresses the essentials and also the finer points of safe bleb needling.  It is aimed at Ophthalmic surgeons and trainees, but also may interest patients having the procedure.
